We have had two people in the past week say Carden's hair is like Andrei Kirilenko's. We were at the post office today and a complete stranger said "Hello Andrei Kirilenko." Carden just looked at him a little confused. Yesterday at church someone asked if he got hold of some scissors and cut his hair. Yep, it is really time for a buzz. No offense to Heidi Chipman! She does a great job cutting his impossible hair.
Max is back to sleeping through the night and we love it! Carden went into Max's room yesterday after naps, looked at Max with astonishment and said "Mommy, Max is not a little guy anymore. He grew up!" Sometimes I wish I could stop both of them from growing up so fast!

Maxwell Steven Pohlman
Maxwell has taken on a variety of names his first three months of life. Max, Maxy, Chunky Monkey, Maxy Moo Moo, Cute Little Guy, and whatever Carden creates that day. He has slept great the past few weeks but has been up to eat the past two nights. I hope it is a growth spurt. He is very scheduled and somewhat predictable. He stares at Carden every chance he gets and I always wonder what he is thinking. I am still getting to know him and I can't believe he is three months old. I cherish every momment with him because I now realize how fast it slips away. I love to kiss his fat cheeks and love his dimple on his right cheek. His head is sooooo flat right now. No matter how much I rotate his head he always ends up in the same position. I even velcroed him in with a towel to get him to sleep on his side for his nap today and he worked his way out! We spent every minute trying to get Carden to straighten his neck because of the torticollis and now we can't get Max to do anything but keep his straight. He is a good baby but we are hoping to get rid of the reflux soon. I feel bad for him everytime he spits up and it comes out his nose. He is my little guy and I love him sooo very much.
Carden Alan Pohlman
Carden has been so good this week. Today he said "Mommy, you are so pretty!" My heart melted. It took him two months to realize Max was going to forever be a part of our family and he really put us through some tough days. He is soooo verbal. He uses full sentences and has the most amazing memmory. Today he told me his soccer ball was in Daddy's trunk and he wanted to get in our car and go get it. I had to call Alan at work and ask if it was in the trunk. It was and we are not sure how long it has been there. He even remembers things that happened last October. He was only one and a half then. Of course, we think he is the smartest two year to ever live. His hair is so amazing. We love it. No matter how much water, gel, or combing we do, it still sticks straight up. When you ask him about his hair, he says "It's goofy." It may be time for a little buzz this summer. He still doesn't have his two year molars and I am always looking considering he is 2 years 2 months old. He sleeps in his bunkbed and has been OK about the transition. He can be so sweet and I love playing imagination with him. He creates fun games and we often have all sorts of animals roaming our house. Yesterday it was dinosaurs and they had just stolen Alan's glasses. What an imagination! I love you Buddy!
Blogging is Great!
I just caught up on everybody's lives in the past few minutes by clicking away! WOW> You start at one person's blog and soon you know everything about a long lost friend you have not talked to in years.
Life is great. Carden is sleeping well again and now Max is up in the night. Maybe some day we will sleep again. Possibly in 18 years? When they move out?
We got great news about my Dad this week and I would love to yell it from the rooftop! He is 100% donor after a stem-cell transplant one year ago. Although he is still ill, we pray and can now have more hope he will beat this. I am just happy he has been here to see my boys grow so much!

Welcome
After a get together with friends on Thursday night, I decided to join the wide world of bloggers! I am not sure what blogging etiquette is but I will try. This blog will mostly be for me in order to at least keep track of the events in our lives.
We started the year with the wonderful blessing of another little boy. Maxwell was born January 16th after only about three hours of labor. He was a big baby weighing in at 8 pounds 13.5 ounces. He is a Carden look alike and we love him just as much. Although he has reflux, he is sleeping through the night and wakes every morning with many smiles.
Carden turned two in February and was a perfect child. He is still perfect in many ways but just recently realized Max is here to stay. He has had a little adjusting but is getting better with A LOT of positive reinforcement, which can be exhausting at times.
We love where we live! We are surrounded by close friends and many kids for play dates. We also love being so close to both Grandma and Grandpa Pohlman and Nana and Papa Rogers. Carden has enjoyed watching out the front window for Grandma on her morning walks.
Alan is still working at Hyper X Media and seems to enjoy his job along with a little flexibility for family time. I am staying at home with the boys and enjoy being so close to so many friends and family. Life is great and I look forward to keeping track of our busy days here on our first blog. Welcome!
