Summer Lovin'

I really can't believe summer is more than half way over. It was not such a great start to an adventureous summer with the passing of my last grandparent, Gramps King. He was a wonderful man and raised an amazing woman. May he rest in peace and maybe even fish.

I had knee surgery the second week of June at the Park City Hospital. That place is amazing!!! The reabilitation was much more than I expected and it put our summer activities on hold for a while until I could walk better. It feels much better now but I still am doing stretches daily in order for the muscle to start working better. I am back at the gym now and appreciate the beautiful mornings as I wake and appreciate the health I have.

We had the Pohlman Family reunion at the cabin this year. Steve and Susan spared no expense as they planned the activities. They really are very thoughtful and think things through. We shot paint guns, had some ladies come and do our toe and fingernails, golfed, geo cached, junior olympics, helicoptor rides, and so much more!!!! The first morning, our agenda said "All hands on deck". We were on the deck at 8:00 and soon heard a helicoptor over head. Then we saw John in the passenger seat. Susan then handed each of us a paper for a ride. It was a blast and the boys loved it!! Thanks Steve and Susan!

Summer would not be complete without a few trips to Eden. The flowers were amazing this year!!!! The weather was chilly at night yet great for swimming during the day. We got my parents up to the Pohlman cabin early on a Saturday morning. THEY LOVED IT!!!! I think they were actually surprised by how much they loved it. The best part was when Steve handed my parents paint guns and sent Robb down to run around like a chicken. My Dad was huddled over laughing. It was hilarious!
