HaPpy BirThDaY Moo!

Another post wishing Bear a happy birthday! This time it is for 4 years! So much to say about Moozers. First, we sure do love you. You can still be sooooo sweet and always willing to share.

The past year, you have learned to tease your little brother (wonder where you learned that from). For some reason, it usually only occurs when your older brother is home. Maybe three is a crowd because you are best buddies with O when C is at school.

You LOVE your Papa, going to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Wii and ice cream, Utah Utes, playing basketball on your Eagle team, playing basketball with our fam at the church, donut shots, CANDY, and coming up every night after being tucked in and saying "Mom, I need to tell you something." Then you whisper something in my ear. It usually includes needing a drink, a tummy ache, an ouie, or being hungry. I guide you back to your bed and soon your are sound asleep. Not quite sure when you will realize it does not get you anything. Maybe it is just that one last hug that you are really searching for.

You learned to ride a bike over the summer. You started preschool with Ms. Mandy as your teacher. You love going to school and playing with friends. You still take a nap daily and like to stay up to watch the Jazz games.

Some of our favorite sayings from you include, "Mom, I need to tell you something." You always make sure you give Daddy a bear hug before leaving for work. You cry A LOT when playing football with C because you have learned he quickly gives you an extra point or the ball back so we will not come intervene. You are a cuddle bug. PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP! You love to be read to. Last week you memorized a book but were so proud you learned to read! Not sure how many times you read that book called, Dogs. When C has a friend come over, he is your friend too. Your favorite friends include Parker and Will from school and Owen from the neighborhood. You miss Tommy and Mitchel because they moved a few months ago. However, they stop by every once in a while and the sports games are back on! Even when it is FREEZING in the backyard!
You have a few more time outs lately and seem to get frustrated more easily but calm quickly and know when to say sorry. Lately, you have been asking a lot about heaven. Who is there, if we take our stuff with us, what we do there, and when you get to go there. Sometimes, Bear, you bring a little heaven into our home and hearts. Happy fourth birthday. WE LOVE YOU!
You asked for your traditional Snowball from Harley and Bucks.
We had a birthday dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's where you were spoiled with gifts!

On the morning of your actual birthday, Jigga and Daddy made you the "BEST BREAKFAST EVER"!!! It included donuts, candy, root beer, sausage, pancakes, and more!!!! Needless to say, church was not fun sitting with your three sugar filled boys!

Soldier Hollow

Yesterday was so much fun! My Mom, Dad, C, M, and I went up to Soldier Hollow to go tubing. O stayed home with Aunt April (THANKS APES!!!). We had a blast!!! I felt like I was 17 again hanging out with my 20 year old Mom. It was beautiful and the boys loved it. After the first run, C said he hated it (typical!). Soon he was off on his own. He would drag his tube up to the rope, jump on, ride up, get off, walk to the start, place his tube, and jump on. Off he went! Moo wanted to go with his Papa but also managed a few solo rides! That kid has zero fear! People were laughing at him. He did look pretty cute.

Two hours flew by but we were exhausted! We headed for home but the boys were STARVING! We hurried and stopped at Dairy Keen for a few hamburgers and ice cream. As soon as we got in the car, the boys were out cold.

Thanks to Nana and Papa for a wonderful afternoon. We had a great time!
