First Day School

First Day of School! First day of school! I woke the morning C man would start first grade feeling a lot like Nemo. However, I soon felt like Marlin as I watched my guy walk through the school doors. I shed a few tears (unexpected!).

The morning started with a surprise breakfast with Alan at Mc Donalds. We raced home to take pics and get to school with extra time for even more pics. So proud of this guy! He has grown a lot and LOVES school. We are about to start day three and he has done great. It is helpful he LOVES Ms. Gregory. They are a great fit! He enjoys hot lunch and has to check the menu every night before bed. Moo asked what time C was coming home probably about 8 times the first day. We had a little play date today to keep his mind off of his best buddy leaving all day long for a long time! We are carpooling to school with the Grimshaws, Lovelands, and Hinckleys. The kids have walked home together. However, the weather has been unseasonably HOT!!! Thank goodness our school has AC. We love you Buddy!!!! Congrats and good luck as you embark on another year of growth!

Rogers Family Reunion

We spent the last few days of summer up in Eden with my family. The first day was spent at the beach boating and playing in the sand. The first hour was spent in the car with a lightening storm hitting right above us. We soon hit the boat but all the kids were crying and whining because they were scared!!!!! Well, more time for the adults. We had a great time skiing and tubing. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

We also spent the days swimming, resting, playing golf, pedicures, tennis tournaments, making smores, and a trip up to the buffet at Snow Basin. We love our fam and enjoy our time together. We had a lot of laughs!
