Happy 5th Bday Moo Bear!

Another joyful year has come and gone with you making us all so happy. Your birthday celebration started the day before your actual birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We had dinner, dessert, and gifts. You were very spoiled by your Grandparents and aunts and uncles. On your actual birthday, you are so special, all the banks and schools were closed for the day (MLK Day). We met Nana, Papa, Daddy, Mimi, and Jigga at your restaurant of choice, Famous Daves. Somehow, you managed to blow out your cousins candles and miss your own!!!

Next we drove to Kangaroo Zoo to meet the Demings and Rogers for a little bounce time. You guys were exhausted. We made it home in time for dinner and a little birthday cake. This year, you wanted Daddy to make an Oregon Ducks cake. Daddy obliged only because he knows how you love to tease him.
You are such a joy to be around Moo! You really miss C while he is at school and your preschool is not quite enough for you! I think you are very ready for Kindergarten. You have started reading and I have NEVER seen such a patient little boy!!! If you do not know a word, you will take as long as you need to figure out what it can be. One of my favorite things is listening to you read!!! You also add and subtract and LOVE math.

You are soooooo easy tempered. If something is bothering you, you politely ask for help and then wait patiently. You often solve problems yourself and seem to be determined to do things alone.

You tease O and tend to get in the most trouble for that behavior. I hear "Stop it!!!" in a grumpy voice coming from you when you are tired and C gets on your nerves. You moan at night, soon realize you need to go potty, make it to the bathroom, and then make a run for bed! It makes Daddy and I laugh. You love playing the WII and enjoy having play dates more than your brothers. You constantly ask for Owen and Jax to play. There are a lot of foods you do not like but will still try them just to make us happy. What a pleaser you are.

I hope you have another wonderful year of growth and happiness! I still can't believe you are 5!!! WOW! Love you little man! Happy Birthday Moozer!

XX

I have to say it!!!! I knew it!!! This pregnancy has been soooooo different! I just did not want to admit it because I did not want to jinx myself! Today was possibly the big day! I had an appointment with my Dr. He said he would try and look. However, the babe was not cooperating in ANY way!!! Bent over, cord between the legs, and sitting on the uterus. She would not budge! We got some great pics but non of the area we wanted! So.... we had to head to Fetal Foto. The first few minutes were much the same. Naughty Baby! The tech told us she would try as often as we wanted. She suggested we head to lunch and come back. However, my Mom and Susan had places to be. That left me and my sister Megan. We went at lunch at Rubios (I need to throw in a THANK YOU to Heidi Grimshaw for taking M and O most of the morning!). While sitting at lunch, what song came on????? GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN!!! Love it! We headed back to Fetal Foto. Only this time, Chelsea and Eden met us too. I kept my eyes closed and threatened my sisters to not speak, move, or basically breath!!!

The rest of the day was very SLOW!!! We made some cupcakes and decorated them yellow, pink, and blue. Then everyone started to arrive! DYING!!!!!

THIS IS MY FAVORITE PICTURE!!!!!!! It captures it all!!!

And now, we will add a little pink to this house and have a sister and DAUGHTER!!!!

SOOOO EXCITED!

Chrsitmas Week

We got together will all the Pohlmans' for a fun night of dinner and games the Monday before Christmas. We did a pinata and the kids were so giddy!

We go to my Mom's on the 23rd every year for the "quiet dinner". My Mom makes the most unbelievable food that night. This year it included SUSHI, steak, twice baked potatoes, Cold Duck, salads and much more!!! YUM. One problem. I had the worst stomach ache that day. I could not really eat anything and it was torture. However, we still managed to do the nativity scene with everyone dressing up. My Mom always does a wonderful job!

Christmas Eve started at Pohlmans' where we made pizzas to our liking, did the Nativity scene, sang songs, and ate Susan's HUGE tray of homemade cookies.

We headed home and made Santa's plate of cookies and carrots. The boys were persistent about doing what they did last year, have a sleepover together. Big mistake! They were exhausted the next day after falling asleep around 11 and waking around 6:15!Alan and I were exhausted Christmas morning because Megan and Jigga came over to help wrap presents. We ended up staying up until 1:30. However, it really is one of my favorite traditions!

Christmas MorningThe boys really are at the perfect age for Christmas. They we so giddy and LOVED giving gifts to each other. Alan took them shopping for one another during the week.

The biggest hit..... Power Ranger Costume. OH HE WAS IN HEAVEN!!!!

Christmas on the Sabbath was very special. We attended a WONDERFUL sacrament meeting where we were reminded of the birth of our Savior again.

We soon headed Pohlmans' for omelets and gifts. Then he headed to my parents for a relaxing evening.

It was a wonderful Christmas again. We have so much to be thankful for and love spending time with our families! Most importantly, we are thankful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Disneyland

My parents took us to Disneyland December 14th. It was the PERFECT time to go. We did not wait any longer than 25 minutes in line and it was nice to feel some warmth in our blood. The boys loved it and Nana and Papa made it a perfect trip!

Our hotel was across the street from the park so we woke each morning and headed over to the Happiest Place on Earth.
The park was decorated for Christmas which added even more excitement to the season. That place really is amazing!

This is my favorite picture! We did not try to do this! My dad's head just managed to be right in front of the Ferris wheel so it looks like he has Mickey ears.

The boys were troopers(for the most part). The Pilot let them sit in the cockpit for a picture as we arrived back in Salt Lake. OHHH!!! IT WAS COLD!

Before flying home, we made a quick trip to the beach for some crab catching. The boys could have spent three days there for free!

A HUGE thank you to my parents!!!!! We had a blast and created memories we will NEVER forget.
